Painting and teaching art have been my life. My passion is working in oil and deriving images from nature in a highly impressionistic style and color palette.

Eugene Mariarz has his masters in fine arts from the University of Maria Curie, Poland. He was a University professor for over ten years, teaching fine art to graduate students in Poland. he came to live in the United States in 1995. Since then he has concentrated he energy toward his painting. While living and painting in Poland he was the recipient of numerious awards.

His work is highly impressionistic breaking the color perspective into multiple layers of color. The painting are literally a blaze with color. His landscapes especially his forest scenes often have a pull that draw you deep into them.
