The subject matter of Fred Kirberger's work ranges from landscapes of Nova Scotia and the Outer Banks of North Carolina to local areas of western New Jersey, the Delaware River, and eastern Pennsylvania.The compositions of his paintings are realistic and detailed showing his great command of technique in art.
Fred Kirberger earned his BA degree from the school of fine arts at Syracuse University. After graduating he was hired by Charles E. Cooper art studio in New York, where he studied with many of the best illustrators of the day. After his time with Cooper Studio, Mr. Kirberger worked for a number of ad agencies, first as a sketch artist, then art director and finally, associate creative director for a large ad agency based in New Jersey.
Mr. Kirberger's works are part of many corporate and private collections throughout the east, including Schering-Plough, Midlantic Bank, and Morristown Memorial Hospital.
