Johane Landry
Johana Landry is a Canadian artist who takes her style from the Quebec movement of the past number of years. She embraces this faction and adds her own unique style of combining bold color, heavy lines and soft impressionistic brush stokes to create a wonderful atmosphere of her surrounding countryside.

Johane Landry lives in her native town of St-Omer, on Quebec’s Gaspe Peninsula, where she spends time with the two things that she cherishes very much: her family and painting. With several favorite theme’s Ms. Landry reveals her emotions and personal feelings which surround her life as well as her inner self. Her energizing colors create a wonderful atmosphere and demonstrate her love of life. By combining bold colors with a soft stroke, Johane reinterprets Quebec’s pastoral themes to reveal a dynamic and passionate love of the land. Johane’s work is apart of “Magazin’ Art’s Collection from the Biennial Repertory Canadians Artists Gallerys 2000-2003.” With passion and determination her expositions and her notoriety have grown outside of the Gaspe Coast boundaries.
