Carol Kravitz describes her style as "contemporary realism".  She feels painting has been a life changing experience. "The interaction of color and painterly brushstrokes bring me great joy. It is that which I seek to share with others by communicating to the viewer the beauty I see around me."

Carol Kravitz was born and raised in New York City. She graduated from Pratt Institute and had a succesful careeras a designer.  She began painting by studing at the Atr Student League and followed this by studing with several of the finest contemporary artists: Frank Mason, Gregg Kreutz, David Leffel, Frank Arcuri and John Phillip Osborne.  Her work is regularly  featured in exhibitions  and juried  shows were she has been the recipient of many awards.
