Jerry Caron is a native New Englander. He graduated from Vesper George School of Art in Boston. Following this he worked for a number of years as an artist for a major publishing house. During the seventies he decided to pursue his fine art while also teaching at The Lyme College of Fine Artin Old Lyme, Ct. For seventeen years, till he retired, he taught painting in both oil and watercolor. He also hosted the TV program on cable titled "The Work of Watercolor". He has had over thirty one man showes and judged numerious art shows throughout New England. His portrait of Florida cogressman Sam Gibbon hangs in the U.S. Captial.
