James Grabowski graduated from Central Connecticut State University and continued on,serving as the graduate assistant in the University's Art Department, while earning his MFA. After teaching art for several years he devoted himself exclusively to his art.
James Grabowski began his career as an abstract painter, receiving commissions from well over one hundred national and international corporations. His painting are large dynamic works, filled with bold color and motion. His abstract paintings have also evolved into bright loose landscapes executed with quick broad strokes that have a freshness and airy quality to them while maintaining the bold color and motion of his abstracts.

Jim's work is in most major companies in New England such as Pratt & Whitney, General Electric, Connecticut National Bank, IBM, Aetna ...  He believes art inspires and enhance the work environment as do well over a hundred corporations.
