"My goal in these bronze sculptures, whether they are recognizable or abstract, is to capture within these forms the subjects of internal essence and energy. This serves as the means to bring the viewer into the freedom of their subjective experience, the dance of their consciousness and imagination.''

Mark Newton graduated from the State University of New York with a Bachelor of Arts. Following graduation he continued to persue graduate work and then spent a number a years living and traveling throughout the Far East. The simplicity of the Asian influence can be seen in many of his bronze scultures. Marks works are in a number of installation in New York and Conneticut. He has also had numerious exhibitions throughout the East Coast during the past twenty years.
